The Raiders had the #1 offense, the Bucs had the #1 defense.

The Bucs executed better, plain and simple.

Honestly, the Raiders shouldn’t get down on themselves too much… that defense was arguably one of the best in the history of the NFL, and one that is missed tremendously by us Bucs fans today.

No evidence of this being a truth would be found even if it was true.

On the “give credit where credit is due” comment by Brad, yeah, the first thing I thought of was the Black Sox scandal when I read the comments by Tim Brown. There is no need to give credit for a comparison or common thought, you give it for the news itself, as Joe did in his original post of this story.

Browns accusation, if true, is much worse as it directly impacts the results of a Super Bowl. I’m going to contact Goodell and ask for an investigation. When you compare it to the Black Sox, you aren’t exaggerating as much as some might think.
As a Bucs fan with a den decorated with Super Bowl 37 memorabilia, I want this investigated. I want to know if it’s true. If it’s false, I want Brown punished.

Brown played for Notre Dame. Obviously there has been a long running operation to embarrass Notre Dame stars by getting them to “date” a fake woman. With the Teo story breaking, Brown needed to create a distraction before it came out that he was duped as well. Rice? He didn’t play for Notre Dame, but his boy Montana did, and Rice is protecting his boy.
