JF is has just shackled himself too much mentally, Schiano got on him the first time he too a dangerous dive but that is all he did.

You’re right, saying stopped is to strong a word, let’s say Schiano strongly advised against it.

It started with Greg Olson, he too wanted Josh to start staying in the pocket longer. He felt Josh was bailing to quickly but Josh did rush for 4TDs in 2011

And I would agree with you Josh needs to scramble more. However, you can’t sit here and tell me Schiano is forcing Josh to stay in the pocket with no proof other that what you just offered. Josh could of and should of scrambled a lot m ore last year as well. Schiano wasn’t here then. Was that his fault to?

Josh had 39 rush attempts in 2012, 15 on 3rd down giving him a 53.1 QBR and a 81.6 rating. 39 rush attempts were his lowest in 4 years.

In 2010 he had 68 rush attempts, 36 on 3rd down, giving him a 64.6 QBR and a 95.9 rating. 68 rush attempts were his most in 4 years.

When you look at the numbers it proves to me the success rate of 3rd down conversions also hinges on the ability of the QB to scramble.

That in no way means he’s stopping Free from scrambling.

He just doesn’t want to do one of his dumbass dives.

Talk about beating a dead horse. He is here for 2013 people, like it or not. If he does great I am all for keeping him, if he doesn’t, dump him. I am also with crowd of people asking who we replace him with? I’ve accepted he is here for 2013, everybody else should too.

Liking their QB to stay in the pocket and making them are two very different things. Every coach would like there QB to stay in the pocket. But to suggest he is forcing Josh to stay there is beyond ridiculous. I guess “real Buc fans” are suppose to have reading comprehension problems as well.

What’s really pathetic is how you pretend to know everything about football. It’s easy to sit back and criticize someone after the fact but if you don’t form your evaluation on all the litigating factors then you have cheated the person you are criticizing. That’s why your not a coach or a GM.
