That’s easy, any consistently average QB would be better than him at this point.
He can’t even manage a game successfully at the moment.

That’s my point 37 years. Looks like finding a franchise QB isn’t that easy. Freeman is the best option right now. Please show me someone in free agency or the draft that would could get thats better than him. Any QB you bring in here will fail if the defense gives up more points than we can score. If we would have used all those top picks on offense instead of a d-line who had 27 sacks 3rd worst in the nfl. Must be Freemans fault to why we can’t get sacks.

Freeman being the best quarterback in Bucs history isn’t saying much considering how historically bad this franchise has been at the quarterback position.

This is a club that has missed the playoffs in 27 out of their 37 seasons in the NFL. I’m just saying.

Look at it this way. His first year was only part of a year and so so. One year he is called the “come back kid”. Why did he always have to come back to win games? One year. Well let’s try to forget that year!!! This year it was all phases. Come back Kid, So So and Let’s forget that year. Now with this history in mind, just what are we to look forward to next season?
I don’t care if he throws for 5000 yards. If he can’t come up with better plays than a bootleg to nowhere on the goal line . Or have the brain power to be able to call a play when his helmet speaker goes out what good is he? All those yards that don’t lead to scores are worthless. Great they set records. SO WHAT? How many only got us in Field goal range as usual that cost us games? No more excuses. I am 100% behind any idea for a plan B.

No, agents can do nothing more than test the water, and only with permission. That is a far cry from negotiating a trade. An agent throwing a hat in the ring is not the same as negotiating a deal genius. They leak it to the media so teams believe he’s a hot commodity. You just make yourself look more stupid with every single post. Just stop already, you are emberassing yourself.

Just because it’s called a contingency doesn’t mean it’s within the rules. I’m glad you know the definition of the word contingency, but I wish you had any idea what you were talking about.

Agents are able to negotiate everything all they need is permission to talk to another team.

Everytime there’s a coaching change in football Gruden’s agent is throwing his hat into the ring. How do you think Gruden was traded to the Bucs? I don’t think Jon was even aware of it.

I know all this Freeman talk “moves the needle”, but I’m so over it already. Barring something crazy, he’s going to be our QB next year. I’m going to support him until he’s gone, which I hope is many years down the road when his trophy cabinet at home gets full from Super Bowl MVP trophies. Everyone has their opinion, and I really can’t argue too much against those who want him gone. However, he probably won’t be gone, so I choose to spend my time on other things, instead of the at least once daily “Josh Freeman must go” conversation.
