He could clear himself medically, accept the pay cut the Bucs are jamming down his throat and hope to play 10 more years to make up for his loss.

He could also choose to retire, unable to complete the gauntlets with out falling on his face. Then he could keep his entire contract and his self respect.

Interesting predicament.

I don’t think there is any impact on the salary cap and if it is it can only be up to the maximum allowed under the new CB – 1mil.
