You are not alone… The feeling is mutual… Having a QB that impacts games is something that has long eluded this team… And now with the “Freeman needs 1 more year” EVERY season after season seems as if the Bucs have given up on striving to get that quality QB and instead they have resolved to just have whatsoever they can make of JF and be content with that…

I have at times wished I wasn’t such a loyal type person so that I could just become a fan of a team that knows how to build winning teams and have much success year after year so these football seasons would be more enjoyable and not so frustrating… 1 day the Bucs will get it figured out, hopefully it will happen in my lifetime!

I think Shaun King’s assessment of Freeman is 100% accurate. Hes a tweener between good and elite class when he is on but when he is off – all but the bottom falls because he dont have the mental intangibles to inspire an organization or the entire team. So true.

I just want the season to end already. Enough of this torture. Freeman personally have ruined my excitement for football. I watch other pro teams like Green Bay and Seattle, San Fran, NE, hell even Indy/Washington and just get sickened looking at QBs that can impact the game.

I dont care whether they win or lose because the truth is we stink in the secondary and at QB. Nothing will change until those positions become more stable and dependable. Microcasm or our franchise the past 10 years or so. Plug one hole and a new leak starts; fix the new leak and the old plug leaks. This sucks gents.

New Year’s letter to Josh Freeman

Come on Josh!

It’s time to step up and be the face of the Bucs on and off the field. Where is the confidence, the swagger, the attitude, the machismo, that all superheroes exhibit. When things are going bad in a game, where is that “not-to-worry I got this” smile that is always present on the face of Manning and Romo on the field? Where is your Cam Newton superman cape, your Giselle, your Aaron Rodgers sense of humor? When are you going to start having fun? I listen to your (de)pressers and they’re almost apologetic. That dulcet tone of voice is killing me. Where is the fire, the anger, the drive, the Farve-like arrogance?

This is your team. Let everyone know it! There shouldn’t be any doubt about who the man is. Only you can make that clear. Act like the star and leader of this team all the time and you will play like one on the field. Do something exciting once in a while. Get rid of the snakes and buy a red corvette. Go on a talk show. Make a commercial, date a Kardashian, do something! Anything to make me believe there’s a superstar – a real man in there somewhere instead of a 24 year old QB-in-training.

I still want to believe! In 2013, let’s see the grown-up Josh Freeman!
