I hear ya,
Who knows with the house cleaning the CB position will most likely face a stack on the position through both FA(DRC) and the draft(Miliner/Banks) could happen. But your right. Till this scheme changes that totally leaves our CBs vulnerable every play I doubt who we have back there will even matter.

I like that scenario but the only problem I have with it is that starting 2 rookie corners, even if they have enormous talent, it’s not likely they will improve our Pass D all that much in there first year. I think it’s in the best interest of Dom’s career to get at least 1 starting Corner through Free Agency and 1 through the draft. Then like SteveK said, you can concintrate on BPA instead of having to draft for need which usually ends in failure.

We really need the higher position in the draft. But who knows??? If Jekyll shows up he might just ruin it for us. Our team can definitely win this game and I believe decidedly if we play like we can play. Just depends who shows up at QB.
P.S. no way in hell we draft a DT with Dee Milliner out there it’s completely possible we get Dee than trade back in and get Jonathan Banks aswell.

I cant remember actually “wanting” a loss ( cue the posters calling me a fake fan ). There really wouldn’t be any upside to winning…FLBoy said it best.. ” false sense of accomplishment”. The potential difference in draft slot could mean the difference between a top corner and a ” reach” for the next best available on the board. Go out quietly but feel free( no pun intended ) to break a few franchise records ( but hopefully not the NFL one for most passing yards allowed) and give Ronde a pick 6 with one last point at the back of # 20.

Luke McCown??????? Nooooooooo says its not so Joe!!! Please tell me Luke McCown is not going to walk off the field in Atlanta with several hundred passing yards and a few touchdowns in the second half like every other backup we have faced this year. WOW I thought he was still in J-Ville!!!

I think on Sunday some one should sneak up behind Gosh and tie his shoelaces together, he won’t even notice until the half. They need to lose this last game.

The Chiefs want to shop their #1 pick for a veteran QB. The Teflon Dom should be on the phone with them Sunday evening. The KC GM is desperate to do something drastic to save his job. A Sunday evening trade for Freeman might do the trick.

The Bucs could select Geno Smith and a stud defensive player with two #1 picks within the 1st 6 picks.

Falcons are undefeated under Mike Smith in irrelevant week 17 games. Plus a couple of those wins came with Chris Redman at QB instead of Matt Ryan. I don’t see any way the Bucs win this one.

If we lose then Dom can have higher draft position.

Then he can decide which franchise or NFL record in futility he wants his team to pursue next year.

Most games are won on the play of both O & D lines.Down the stretch the Bucs have not been good enough.

I hope the Falcons go hard this game. For the players AND coaches sake. I really hope what ails this team is lack of experience in the system and not the system itself.

I have a sneaking suspicion that our pass defense would still only be mediocre if we had Jonathan Joseph and Darelle Revis lined up at corner. We simply sell out entirely to stop the run which doesn’t seem to work against elite quarterbacks. (You know the Nick Foles and Sam Bradfords of the world).

Here is to next year! . . . again.
