If Dom doesn’t sign Bennet than that alone should get him the boot. How long have we been drafting DE to no avail and than finally we have a dominating one whose only getting better as the years go on fall in our lapse??? It would be the most idiotic move he’s made yet.

I think there is a 50/50 chance we sign Michael Bennett. he is a good pass rusher, but he is NOT a dominating pass rusher. plus you have to figure that the best year of his career came during contract year. will his play slip once he gets that big new contract? idk. and you also have to mention that his presence on the team is that of a team with the worst sack total in the NFL. so has he really made that much of an improvement to our team in terms of sacks. no. if we sign him great, but if we don’t sign him we will survive.

55 starts is more a chance than most would get.

Freeman has this game to decide if the Bucs will keep him for next year.

We can’t sell tickets as is, and if you keep a “sinking ship” of a QB in town, then less and less people will buy tickets.

I hope we can get a consistent QB, we need one.

@ raphael, you cheer sub par play like no other, I hope for your sake we can get a franchise QB in here worthy of such praise.

First things first; we have to open up the checkbook and pay Michael Bennett, which I think we’ll do. Martellus, of course, will mention getting Michael to play with him in New York, in part because I’m sure his preference is staying with a contender (albeit, with a fat new contract), but also because it doesn’t do him any favors to be openly clamoring playing for a different team. You keep that kind of stuff private.

Hopefully, we get both Michael and Martellus Bennett in pewter next season. I think he would help Josh Freeman tremendously.
