This team looked good early on, but after injuries and adversity, they have crumbled all over. This team has a character problem, which is a lack of leadership. Maybe it’s just gonna take more time. Great teams fight through adversity and win. This team hasn’t figured out how to do that yet and until they do they will dwell on mediocrity. Schiano needs to take a hard look in the mirror and rethink his message. He does really good things with the team but many of his tactics should be checked at the door.

it’s clear shiano has not yet picked up the pace, stategies or even the concept of what it takes to win in the NFL. This is not the first time, we’ve “given up” on opportunities to score. We’ve had late game melt downs in all 3 phases of the game that have contributed to losses due to coaching decisions, IMO. I’m a Shiano supporter, but I hope he’s not so stubborn not to learn from his mistakes. We are probably top 5 in long scoring plays or long passes in general…that is one of our few strengths, we have to use it when we have a chance.

Seriously Joe, you have been my favorite writer for “all things Bucs” but recently, (the past few days) you have struggled with little contrast to the struggles of Josh Freeman. It seems like you are in need of professional help all of a sudden! “as goes Josh Freeman so goes Joebucsfan”??? C-mon! Read this back in the quiet of your office and tell me if this is any better than the product that Josh has put out the past 3 weeks!

I agree with running the clock out in that situation.When the Eagles were pushing it down the field late in the first half.I was saying why would a team with all the momentum.Take the chance of a pick-6 or anyplay that might sway the momentum.Sure enough they missed the FG and the buc’s came out of the lockerroom and owned the 3rd quarter.Remember Eli pressing late in the half oops pick 6.You only need 1 second on the clock to return a pick 6

Some of you act like its the end if the world if the defense learns to adjust to the offense Bahahahahaha. News flash!!!! It’s the offenses flippin job to learn the defense and adjust to them accordingly!!! It’s not a one-sided game!!! There are plenty of QB’s out there that when they step onto the field the defense knows exactly what the hell they intend on doing yet they can’t stop them anyways!!! And when the defense does the QB doesn’t scream “but they knew what I was going to do!!” No instead they man up and say “that was my bad, I failed to adjust properly” I swear y’all make more excuses for them than they would even fathom of making for themselves.

The way I look at it, Coach Shiano has probably seen enough film, practices and in game play of Free-falls to realize that he is not a QB that can be very effective in those situations…. I have come to the point that I ponder whether his QB inabilities severly handicap the play calling….

Drop him with absolutely NO REGRETS…… NEXT!

Did you notice, between Pringles, that the defense was moving to where the plays were designed to go- BEFORE THE SNAP??? Because they could diagnose the play from the formation.

That is more of an indictment on Freeman considering he is the only one responsible for audibles at the line of scrimmage… which is another thing he is clearly struggleing at. But I can see how you can try to spin that around on someone who isnt very knowledgeable about football to try to make a point suit your own needs.. You do get an A for effort though. But overall you FAIL!
