is this ‘getting back to fundamentals’ common? honestly i don’t understand it. you are in the nfl making millions ~ fundamentals (imho) should be second nature like breathing. muscle memory should automatically do the motions that it has been doing years. like tim tebows throwing motion…no matter how much they tried changing it , you can’t. i don’t know. if i’m wrong please explain. thanks!

.

I think every team should review the basics sometime during the season...but in the case of the Bucs it is even more important. Joe mentioned the tackling but I think its more than that.

The offensive line decimated to the point that Martin has been unable to get yardage lately is one example.

The Bucs have a LOT of rookies right now, playing starting roles. There are also guys that have been signed off the streets as well. There are players that were not here for the fundamentals during training and mini camps.

And personally, I'm curious how things went. For the offense the unit has had time to grow together. These are the things that develop trust between players, making them gel better.

Andrew trust this coach is not overlooking any team. Week by week. The bucs "should" win when you look at the matchups on paper. That doesn't mean anything after kickoff though

This whole season is "training camp" for next season. They fix this atrocious pass defense this offseason and next year they're going to barnstorm the hell out of a lot of teams.

Lets not be so quick to forget that this same time last year we were watching a bunch of quitters being led by a guy way over his head. Schiano has done a damn fine job with what he was given.

there you go again Joe. did you not learn anything from proclaiming that we should beat the panthers and then we almost lost? there are no sure wins in the NFL. its any given Sunday. I don't care if the other team is 0-15, we must always be on top of our game or else you could get beat.
