What exactly is “crap”? ESPN reported this. I heard it on the radio too.

During a game…..this is Tuesday or Wednesday morning news at best.ESPN isn’t really the best standard of sports reporting to site. I doubt he will be going anywhere this season, maybe next year or two of the offense continues to progress.

Ron Turner wouldn’t be an awful successor, good point Eric.

If Sullivan wants to be a head coach then he should be asking to interview, can’t fault him there. No one is offering the guy a contract yet, and if he is trying to leverage more cash from the Bucs, he deserves it. Sullivan on his worst day is lightyears better than Greg Olsen on his best day.

By Joe’s account Sullivan would be a perfect candidate, and I guarantee you BC won’t be the only destination who shares in that opinion by the end of the year.

But if Sullivan were smart, he should hold out and fulfill his contract. Stay another year or 2 with your 2-All Pro guards back healthy and see if you can really make a splash next year as well. If he does, NFL head coaching jobs will come calling, and Sullivan won’t have to stoop for a mediocre college gig.

For some reason Joe believes Sullivan is some sort of catch. Yeah right. The rookie OC of a very mediocre NFL team with no tractor record at his current administrative level, much less as an executive. Take off the blinders, Joe.

As an OC so far through 12 games I think he is average. Yes they had a nice 5 game stretch but that was against mediocre teams. If thats what BC wants they can have it.

If BC wants to hire the first-year OC of a 6-6 team who has no experience whatsoever as a HC and whose offense, while having potential, is thus far pretty inconsistent especially in clutch moments against teams who have a winning record, then have at it. Take all that. Good luck to whoever is making hiring decisions at BC in keeping his job for more than a year or two. Someone should check that guy’s head because his elevator isn’t going all the way to the top floor for some reason.
