It would be hilarious if Raheem was at the reunion. Techically, he was part of our Super Bowl coaching staff as a quality control coach.

The reason he has not coached another team since is that the Bucs paid him not to coach. He has been very successful as a commentator on MNF. He has expanded his empire with the college QB show. These are very family friendly endeavors and he had a young family.

I would like to give Jon Gruden sincere thanks for bringing a Super Bowl victory and respectability to the Tampa Bay area. Jon won’t have to pay for a drink anywhere in West Florida this week.

I agree this team has the makings of the best Buc team ever. I think one more Draft and a FA or two, could put them over the top or least in the top echelon of teams. We need help at CB but I think these young guys are improving each week.

Bottom line is….if we fix this miserable secondary we have this is the best Tampa team to ever hit the field for years to come. Should have at least one more Super Bowl in the books before this team dismantles. The past is the past. I’m looking forward to the future.

You guys with the “He dismantled the team” schtick, crack me up! It wouldn’t have matter who was headcoach. In todays NFL, teams only have certain amount of time or windows of opportunities, lets say, to win a Super Bowl. With that said, it was salary cap hell and free agency runaways that dismantled the team. Also, add to that the fact of the (2) 1st round and (2) 2nd picks we gave up for Gruden.
Let me ask this question to Gruden haters, would Marvin Lewis or Steve Mariucci taken us to the pormised land? HELL NO!
Wah, wah, wah… Gruden won with Dungy’s team.. wah, wah…Gruden dismantled team…wah, wah…

I wouldn’t say he immediately dismantled it. Keyshawn deserved to be kicked to the curb.

And the reason he has not coached a team since is because he was given one of the biggest honors he could get…he replaced the great John Madden. If he coaches he loses that.

Gruden had a coaching style I didn’t much care for (except in the first year), but he did get some results. I think Dungy and Monte deserved some credit for the defense, but Gruden came in and built the offense enough to win the superbowl.

There was a reason Dungy failed to do it here…and when he was hired to the Colts, Dungy was told NOT to tamper with the offense. So really, if Gruden did it with Dungy’s team, Dungy did it with the Colt’s offensive coordinators team.
