Move Barron to corner he’s probably our fastest DB.Barber and Black safety’s.QB’s would have a hard time seeing papa smurf and dopey smurf out there.

What did everyone think the Falcons recieving corps was going to do to our CB’s and secondary?

Roddy White- Pro bowler
Julio Jones- Freak talent, cost several picks to go up and get
Tony Gonzalez- Best recieving TE ever….

Our CB’s:

Gorrrer- who the hell is that?
Leonard Johnson- warrior, 4.7/40 yd speed
Biggers- 7nh round pick, ,meh
Myron Lewis- 3rd round pick and plays like the WORST player on D, just as Reejus is the worst WR, yet one of the highest drafted.

We had a decent draft last year, and it is because we made our early selections count. I believe we can do the same.

It says something that we suck terribly at CB. We signed a Free Agent, Eric “never learns knuckle headed fool” Wright, and drafted Talib 20th overall.

Talib’s talent is a mirage, as he lacks the utmost accountability.

With all of this being said, I am happy with our current CB’s. They are playing to their draft status. I wish everyone could perform to their draft status….

If we dont get big long fast corners we are toast like i said before..Haters.
.Joe you have got some know it all cocky fans on your site. I wonder if they have ever played sports at all. Its basketball in the league know..I dont have to say Gates/Graham/Gronk do I?….. 5’9 can’t cover 6’5…

Would LOVE to see Xavier Rhodes in the secondary with Barron….Opposing WRs will definately be not wanting to cross the middle and will be keeping their head up fo sho!!

Flyboy, I agree with you with a few caveats. Some due diligence is required first. What effect has this had on the locker room? Is Wrights situation in any way related to Talib’s suspension? Was this a personal offense or was he involved in any distribution?

I don’t know those answers, but they have to answered in the clear before he is reconsidered. My opinion!

Don’t just dump Wright and lose an above-average (although not great) CB with zero compensation. Either trade him for a pick or at worst make him renegotiate his contract. No other team in the league will give him $7 mil per year after what he’s done this season. Get him down to about $4 mil per and use the cash savings to bring in more free agent help.

That would be the smarter business move. I’m glad Dominik doesn’t react emotionally like some fans and just dump players who still have some value. Some folks were screaming to just cut Talib…now that we have another 4th round pick I’m glad Dominik ignored those idiots. He should do the same with all the emotional screaming taking place right now. Business is business and emotion has no part in it.

We need to sit and take DeMarcus Milliner in the 1st round if he’s there if not move up and get him. If were going to keep playing Man Coverage we need a good Man CB. Jonathan Banks I feel gets beat too much for big plays like Talib did. I don’t mind getting short passes and your every now and again 20 yards, but NO MORE 30-80 yard wide open plays. Wouldn’t mind taking Xavier Rhodes in the 1st if we have to. If he’s there in the 2nd round I’d pick up the guy from Oregon Jordan Poyer. If anything he gives us depth at the CB position and can return kicks and punts.

I think these guys would all be solid depth. Dump Eric Wright, draft a guy, sign and guy-call it a day.

The Falcon’s badly out schemed us in the first half.Our defence that all year has played the run first,decided to drop and play the pass.The falcon’s ran the ball down our throat (reminded me a lot of last year).Keying the run is the way to go.If you can’t stop the run your DEAD.We will give up 300-400 passing yards every game.But if we can force a couple turnover’s and tighten up in the red zone we’ll be fine.The offence must continue to role and not comit turnover’s for this to work.Every time we get back into dink and dunk bad thing’s seem to happen.As far as Wright cut him and offer him 3 mil 2 year’s.Since he hasn’t played for 4 week’s he shouldn’t have appealed

Hasn’t EJ been playing pretty well this year? He’s no world beater, but as a nickelback being the number one on the team and playing at a higher level than we have seen in the past 2 seasons would it not stand to reason that they would bring back their best corner as it stands right now?
