Talib manned up in a contract year and dropped his appeal when the timing best suited the team and look what happened to him.

I wonder if Brandon MacDonald was cut because of Adderall and an upcoming suspension.

I wonder if more suspensions are coming because it doesn’t make sense for Wright to take a suspension and come back for one game. Will more players skip the plane ride to Atlanta because of suspension?

I don’t support Wright’s stupid decision but let’s get one thing straight. He did NOT make the decision to appeal and postpone his suspension. That decision was made for him by Dominik & Schiano. Schiano hinted as much earlier in the season, implying that they didn’t want both Talib and Wright out at the same time which is what would’ve happened had Wright not appealed. Talib took the bullet first by giving up his right to appeal and taking his 4 games immediately. Wright did the opposite so that his suspension would happen later on and not coincide with Talib.

Now of course at the time this decision was made at the start of the season they had no idea they’d be trading Talib to the Patriots and that Wright’s suspension would take place after the trade. So yes, the plan didn’t work out 100% as anticipated. But let’s not start blaming Wright for any decision other than popping Adderall, because the idea to stagger the suspensions came from management and not from a player. Give blame where blame is rightfully due.

When Eric Wright ran his mouth non-stop on Twitter shortly after signing the big contract, he would talk about being an only child. And as an only child, TRUST ME….we are SELFISH….so Booger is 100% correct

Id agree with every word Booger said expect the part about Wright not manning up and taking the suspension right away.

Remember Talib and Wright got word of the suspension around the same time. Talib didnt appeal and Wright did. I believe some of that was the Bucs front office avoiding seeing both starting CBs out at the same time. Decent try at the time.

Forget Wright, barring any injury to our remaining CBs I wouldnt even expect him to suit up in Week 17. Bucs learned the hard way why so many teams have given up on this guy. Bum
