Why does anyone bother getting worked up about what Ian Beckles has to say. It makes him feel good to trash our Bucs D-line because it makes him feel relivant. I mean, after all he wasn’t much more than an after thought on the Bucs roster while riding the coat tails of Buccaneer Hall of Famers’. I say, let him have his soap box. That’s about all he’ll ever be known for.

I love to read some stupid things people here say about our CB’s. QUICK!!! APRIL!! DRAFT A CB!!! So that means Barber came out of college and day 1 became a starter, went to the Pro Bowl year 1, and everyone here knew he would be Hall of Fame ?? Get Real!! LJ has been thrown to the lions and done a hell of a job so far. Yes he needs more coaching and game time. Biggers is better than last year. That’s coaching and system. Barber needed and got ALL of that while people were calling for his head. Was the same with Lynch. Draft is Pick and Hope!
When every teams CB’s make every play and make no mistakes let me know. Even Pro Bowlers Screw up. And yes even they LOAF after a missed tackle and it’s to late just like RB and LJ.

Dave Moore exposed this guy in an interview the day after Gruber was inducted. Ian was indignant as to why fans didn’t come out to support #74 on his day and D. Moore asked, “Did you make it to the game, Ian?” Uhhhhhh, no. SLAM! And this guy played with Gruber for years. Tells you all you need to know about him. The guy is a phony, from start to finish.

To me I think Gerald McCoy and Roy Miller is beat up and tired. Roy Miller haven’t played a full (healthy) season in years and McCoy never played a full season. They probably needs to adjust to a 16 game season. Next year with a full season under the same DC they should great.

We have ZERO depth, less than zero actually. With the CB situation, and the inability to get off the field, and no real d-line rotation, our guys are totally GASSED towards the end of games, when the pass rush really needs to step up. McCoy is being doubled the majoriy of the game and he get VERY few plays off. I thought Shiano/Dominik made huge mistake by not keeping/adding D-line depth earlier this year. At one point, we had 3 DE’s on active roster and 9 CB’s. Take a look at the Giants, they have 7 or 8 legitimate starters on the d-line.

Obvioulsly, we took a huge hit losing Clayborn, BUT, I’m not sold he’s the pass rushing force we need, actually IMO, we dont have that “force” on our team yet. Dont think taking a CB is a slam-dunk by any means, at least, I hope it isnt’. BPA between CB and DL for first 5 rounds, IMO.

Ian has a point here. Our D-line hasn’t generated good pressure in awhile and Atlanta doesn’t have the best Oline. Wasn’t it Gerald McCoy who told Sheridan in the beginning of the season to stop all of those stunts and just let them rush straight? My lame opinion is that Sheridan gets too cute and clever. Just let our 4 man rush do their job and they prove they’ll get the job done.

Bucs are desperate for 2 good CBs. I mean White 1st round and Jones 1st round. Biggers 7th round and Johnson undrafted, who did you think would win. I feel they played good, but come on Defense get off on third down. Too many times Falcons converted on 3rd down. That’s what hurts us the most. Hell if Dominik drafts only CBs and DEs next draft I won’t be sad.
