Character, leadership, play same position, tenacity, signed as free agent with Bucs under new first year coach (Gruden/Schiano), both caught long deep passes, both former teams (Jaguars/Chargers) were one play away from the Superbowl, both plays hungry, both motivates the team, and both are reasons the offense improved from previous year. 2002… 10 years later, here we come again.

All I ever remeber hearing about VJ, when he was in SD, was negative. I admitted when we signed him, I’m not his biggest fan. Partly because, I fell for all the crap that the SD media said about him. He has been a stand up guy, model Buccaneer man, since day 1. He’s a true pro, and a great person. There are many reasons the Bucs are having a great season. I believe you have to put VJ at, or near, the top of the list. Dude is BEAST! My next jersey is gonna be 83. Def a huge fan now. Free 2 VJax, ALL DAY!
