Has anyone else noticed that he always has his mouth open when he has the ball, too? Go take a look at any pictures of him catching or running with the ball. Wide open.

Awesome. Now I get to call Williams “Showtime”.

This offense is scary. It is still hard for me to understand what I am seeing and I find it hard to believe: the Bucs have one of the strongest offenses in the league.

““We started slow because we had to get the offense. There are a lot of adjustments in this offense,” Williams said. “We gotta read off zone coverages, man-to-man coverages, and we have different routes depending on what the coverage is. And I think we was like kinda not on the same page. We were seeing different things, but I think now we’re all starting to see the same things. Everything looking the same to us, the offense starting to get a lot familiar.”

But some of my fellow JBFers were adamant that a 4th year quarterback with all these high priced weapons should be clicking right out of the gate! Thank goodness the coaching staff didn’t bench Free and Schiano didnt fire Sully after TWO games.

Really like the way the offense is coming together, especially in the Red Zone. Can remember having an offense where many a days you’d hope they’d at least get three points and not turn the ball over. Believe this year they’re at 64% scoring TD’s when they get there. And love the coaching that’s going on right now. Freeman and Sullivan seemed to have really started to build a trust and relationship just watching their interaction on the sidelines. And liked how, during the Minnesota game where Martin popped it outside and took it down the left sideline for about a 30 yd gain but kept the ball in his right hand, Schiano pulled him aside and reminded him to switch it to his outside hand so he could use his stiff arm. Can’t recall a run since where he hasn’t done that AND kept that ball high and tight. Holds it that way even after the score, like he doesn’t want to let it go. Love it.
