I do not agree with cutting Talib either, I agree with Pete that he needs to go, but I would say let him walk at the end of the season. He is popular with his team mates and is a good player, it would be nuts to cut him mid season.

He admitted that he believes this and believes that his comments on a blog are influencing Buccaneer decisions.

Pete, however, I disagree with you about Talib. You don’t cut him, you don’t release him. He stays until we find a better replacement talent wise… unless he is a Meshauwn or Winslow who actually is a cancer to the locker room.

Is Talib a cancer? I do not think so because no body listens to him as a voice. He is just a thug who makes boneheaded mistakes. But he is a team player. And that’s all teammates can ask for.

Besides, the Bucs might get lucky and re-sign him on the cheap this year.

I am a Buccaneer football fan. If the guys are talented, better than what we got, then you got to keep them until you can replace them.

I don’t know about that. I don’t for a second think that getting rid of Meshawn was a mistake way back when. I think in general you are right…but there are individual cases where it is best to cut ways for fear of future damage being done.

Cutting Talib would be a smart move. Cutting Wright? Not so smart. It would represent a huge financial loss. Better to give him another chance.

In the case of Talib, whether it is drugs, guns or whatever…he has been given chance after chance after chance.

I think cutting him would send the right message. Putting Wright on probabtion would send a good message.

Miguel El Magnifico, it is easy to predict bad things and “hope” the happen…because most people are imperfect and will eventually make mistakes of some sort.

In your case…you say all these bad things in mass…and feel justified when one or two actually happen. I hate to burst your bubble…but it makes you no more important than anyone else…probably less so given how intolerable you are.

Those of us that do not seek attention to validate our existance look at guys that do and just shake our heads…because kids behave better.
