Gibson was a beast out there, I'm very impressed with this addition, also Gerald McCoy was killing his man every play, what a stud he has turned out to be, I'm sure all those that cried over Detroit grabbing Suh, that pick NOW doesn't seem that much better if at all! Baron is looking like he's a stud, can play in the box just like Lynch at times, we are so lucky we chose him over Clayborne, Lavonte David is a D Brooks clone, he looks just like Derrick did his rookie year! Ronde is a complete stud, always the consament pro and playmaker! And to think we're gonna get DaQuan Bowers back, who was coming into his own at the end of last year, I believe will be the best lineman we'll ultimately have just fires me up, this could be the making of a very good defense for a very long time, please stay injury free!!

@ Big Rob: No need to make excuses for Ruud. While the line play has been much better lately, Ruud always preferred to allow the runners to get to him instead of attacking them before they made any progress.

That could have been something he was asked to do, but the fact that he could not win a starting job competing with 2 rookies in 2 consecutive years tells me he was always overrated here in Tampa.

Mason Foster is like the antithesis of Ruud. He has not been holding back to deliver a THUMP to opposing RBs unlike Ruud.

If David and Foster get some pineapple in their diet, they would be wise to share with the DL. The front 7 is really getting the job done. Hey, need to mention Barron too.

I saw a stat yesterday that the Bucs led the NFL in TFL, tackles for loss.

Amazing turnaround indeed.

We absolutely have to find a way to make sure we lock up Bennett for the long term. we have the potential to have a Giants-like defensive line and need to jump at the opportunity to do so. I think the fact that we have Bowers and Clayborne on the cheap will help allow that to happen...hopefully.

I know its still WAY early to be looking towards April, but i'm thinking regardless of whether Talib is back or not (and i'm thinking he will be) we need to be drafting a CB in the first round. Looking forward to the day when we'll be picking low enough in the first round where we can just select the best available player. PERIOD.

The Saints is another team with a horrible run defense and a weak pass defense, but with a great pass offense. Freeman "should" have a good game against them, and this is the game Biggers and Wright will really get challenged and we will see how well Mark Barron can cover Jimmy Graham.

We will see how well this team really improved, and prove that it wasn't a fluke.

It's fun to watch the Buccaneer defense again. I was worried about the run defense when Clayborn went down but they still look good. Not allowing a pass play longer than 19 is pretty impressive too. In the secondary the Bucs were quick to the ball and tackled well all day.
