I was thinking the same thing. They make Ware out to be a burden in the backfield, but he is a good pass blocker and a good 3rd down back. If we can use all three backs during the game that’s a plus, because it will increase chances for the running backs being healthy and good shape by the end of the season.

Oh yeah Joe the right side was a jail break. They didn’t even attempt to block those rushers. I see why they wanted to try Trueblood at guard.

Screw Martin and Ware.. I want to see Blount get the ball more.. He is the better back on the team and should get more carries. We go to Martin too much IMO. Need to spread the ball around more.. Where is Benn?

First of all, are you guys watching the same Ware as me? The guy has made numerous plays on third down this year, and he has done a very good job in pass protection as well. I can think of 3 plays off the top of my head where he ran the ball on third down for a first down. Yet you want him to not play? Heh? He’s doing his job, and doing a damn good job at it.

At first, I didn’t understand why we would be playing Ware on third down, but he has without a doubt performed well and deserves to be on the field. Don’t get what you guys are seeing. And I totally agree with HAND, at best case that was a difficult catch for Ware (the one that was intercepted). It’s pretty hard to catch a fastball from 5 feet away through a defenders arm. It’s always amazing to me how people love to criticize players that aren’t “their guys” for every little possible error, yet “their guys” are never to blame for anything.

Blount had all his yards on the final drive of the game against 2nd team defenders. Anyone who say Martin run today would know he is the better back. But again congratulations to Blount for really showing up those back up defenders

@raphael – Yes indeed that stiff arm was awesome. Punched him in the mouth.

Free throws a bullet to Ware from 5 yards away through a defenders arm and helmet.T he defender was blocking his vision. I don’t see how that is an easy catch at all.

I’m looking forward to watching the game. Buc radio sounded like Martin had flashes of what we drafted him for. With the exception of dropping a couple of passes seems like Martin had a pretty good day. Sounds like he broke a couple of tackles which was nice.

@Vc Blah! Freeman threw a bullet to Ware In between a players head and upward outstretched arm. Ware wasn’t even able to see it till it was past the guy that was 2 yards in front of him. No one would have made that catch.

Joe, I don’t even think dj ware himself knows why he’s playing so much. Good to wee a lgb sightning 2. With a couple of nice blocks, who knew he could block too right? Hell I even saw him go out on a route.
