To be honest adderall was a big thing in college. I saw students popping those things like tic tac so they can study for longs hours before their exams. It keeps you focus for hours. Never tried it though, just was in a group and knew a guy that took it. Ended up with liver issues.

The one thing that kind of shouts leniency here is the drug he was using. It’s not like he was snorting coke or meth, he took adderall. Frankly he never struck me as being too bright, I wonder if he wasn’t trying to lean the new playbook and took it to help himself concentrate.

Still with the money he makes he could always find an MD somewhere to prescribe anything he asks for.

Also Joe, could you drop the ads with audio that auto load? It’s real pain to try to find them and turn them off.

Like what? What exactly has he done that he said he wouldn’t do? None of us know the exact situation, especially how Talib handled the situation. We don’t know what goes on behind closed doors, nor should we. That’s a pretty big accusation (basically you are calling him a liar) without knowing the facts.

I’m trying to make myself upset at Talib about this latest incident, but I’m having a hard time. It was stupid, no doubt, but not really justifiable to be cut. Obviously due to all the other incidents, it may be the last straw for him, but to me this is a totally different type of incident. Had he punched someone, shot someone, cursed at a coach, or smoked week, I would definitely feel differently. If he really was trying to take a pill (or more appropriately, a “chill pill”) to keep his temper down, then I at least appreciate the fact that he’s trying to fix his problems. I guess in a way I kind of admire him for that. But damn Talib, can’t you at least get a prescription? It’s really not that hard to do, is it?

Is he a knuckle head? Yes, but he is still talented. I won’t be surprised if he is resigned as his off the field issues have caused him to lose money. We may get him at a bargain.

I see him coming cheap or on another team either way he is a serviceable CB. Honestly anything to keep Myron Lewis off the field is good with me.
