You do not “right ” your offense against one of the worst defenses in the NFL. That just shows the 2010 season. Beating garbage defenses and beat by good ones.

The tuck rule wasn’t a bad call, it was a bad rule.

The worst call was Simeon Rice getting penalized for illegal jumping to cost us the MNF game against Indy.

Bm00 I agree. I watched the game too. Worst call possibly ever or at least since Brady’s tuck rule against Chucky.

I think only people in the entire universe that saw it as a TD catch was the idiot ref who called it and the ref in the review booth with a gun to his head.

The game has really gone to hell. These refs are a total joke and so is Goodell’s because of it.

With the right play calls/scheme these dudes are playing sound defense. Looking very good with everyone doing their job. Gonna be a big loss with Clayborn on the IR, and I hope Johnson can step up and play some decent ball. Te’o-Whatever needs to change his number, but he must have some talent and skills if he has stayed on this team since last year.

Although it won’t matter what this D does unless #5 can get his s**t together and play QB like a grown man and a real leader and not some sorry excuse for a 1st round draft pick and team captain!

Hope the D can maintain their current path and our offense to put up some points!

The Buc D should be allowed to drill Freeman in practice to show their displeasure with him. In fact, the fans should be allowed to pay, let’s say $5 a pop to show their displeasure. This very well may be the recipe to waking his sorry ARSE up.

I truly see us making a huge jump next year. We’re going to struggle this year that’s to be expected I really wish people would understand that. The 49ers and Lions didn’t just pop out of no where they were showing some of the same flashes we are now (with a lot of the misses we are too) the year before last. It’s now three games straight we held our opponents to less than 100 yard rush which is 2nd in the league only to Seattle who has yet to play this week.

Is D.J. Bryant ready to make the step up from the practice squad to the active roster, or do they place a call to E.J. Wilson, whom they cut in the preseason?

Or, do they go with who they have in place (Johnson and Te’o-Nesheim) and focus that extra roster spot on another area of need (TE…ahem…WR)?

I thought the Bucs defense had a phenomenal day, one very reminiscent of the defenses of yore, but I found it interesting that they had such a great day and I don’t recall hearing Ronde Barber’s name called even once. I think that is a good indicator of how the young pups are coming along.

Andre Carter has worked out for the Raiders twice now and still hasn’t been signed so sounds like he still isn’t healthy. We have to pray our own guys can step up.

Gotta see more before I accept that it’s “fixed”‘, but no doubt that the run defense is vastly improved over the first three games.

And Eli made the defense look like fools.

Remember we were 4-2 last year with a lot of crowing before the bottom fell out.
