If Schiano has his team play every play 100% then how come at the half when the Giants knelt the ball he did not have them try and get the ball/dive at the Olineman’s knee’s? If he plays every play 100% why did he let the Giants score at the end there rather then believe in your defense to possibly strip the ball from the RB?

Whats Schiano think – that his players would never get injured? He obviously does not value the health of his own players if hes gonna be a “worked at Rutgers” hot shot rookie coach. We’ll see how it plays out, but hes got a lot to back up. His players better play for him or he’s gonna look pretty stupid.

Just to recap for you Tampa fans: your team got smoked in the process of giving up a double digit lead and then your punk first year coach tried to salvage his pride with a cheap shot on the team that just beat him. If you had a quarterback worth a cheap shot then you might understand. But the fact is, opposing defenses would rather your lame first string qb stay on the field because sooner or later hello give the ball away and lose the game. Bucs sux

Seems people are getting confused by semantics. Either side can justify it or condemn it all they want. The bottom line is, it was a desperation move on Schiano’s part. Sure it’s technically legal. The point is, the Bucs went for the knees. Heck, you even see the Giants Oline instinctively jerk up. Stop the Giants like men and own up to it when you can’t, then come back better next time.

Fans do have the power to demand better. It pisses me off more than anything that Schiano has put the fans and his players in a position where they have to defend bull crap like this. How you gonna compete and beat the best when you can’t even hold your head up high?

Everyone shoulod be talking about a freshfaced Bucs team with an innovative coach who does not QUIT! They were on the 30 we had a chance and took it. Waaaaaaaaaah. Punk asses want to say different screw em! Our secondary looked good for 3 quarters, collapsed, and the coach took the heat off their backs. It is what it is…move on nothing to see here!

JBrooks, There’s a difference between being tough and playing cheaply. The Bucs of all people, should know that, as they have a fine tradition of tough play, with admittedly a little cheapness thrown in (Sapp illustrated both). Tough guys don’t have to hit defenseless linemen to make a point. They just suck up the pain and win games (kind of like, um. . .the Giants). I guess you can enjoy pretending you guys have the tough team, and that the Giants cry. We will take the victory and 2 Championships in the last 5 years. I have been having fun bantering, but I am out. Good luck this year.
