They do, Biggers is coming back. He may not be the best but he is a lot better than Lewis.

Every other team has their own Parkers at the bottom of the roster or on the practice squad. And even more are available as free agents.
Why would he be worth a 7th rounder to another team – when he’s not even worth a roster spot on this team?
Name the team who could use him – and NEED him to the point of giving up a draft pick for him. There’s only 31.

It doesn’t matter what his performance stats were last year. What does he being to the table on the field NOW?
How fast does he run? How high can he jump? How much of the route tree can he do? How does he run block? Can he do a chip block? How are his catching skills? Special teams skills? Ability to beat press coverage? Ability to read defenses? Ability to get open? How coachable? Et cetera.

He might get some looks from other teams, but that doesn’t mean those teams would have given up a draft pick for him.

Preston Parker is not really a Schiano type of guy.

Underwood and Shipley are. Bottom line.

Prestons attitude must of shown recently. Coach is tired of his vibe.

it seems like Parker has a lot of supporters on this site. but let’s look honestly at his PRODUCTION… By no means was it elite couple that with ball security issues and the risk simply does not out way the reward. i am not sure Underwood is the answer but it does not hurt to tweak the roster with NON-Impact players such as Parker. I am not sold on Shipley either. UT Players can’t stay healthy. Sure it put up numbers with his Girlfriend McCoy at UT but they played in a very poor conference. I am glad this staff and Dominick are at least willing to keep tweaking the roster until they find some good chemistry or maybe that rare gem that has been overlooked. I must admit I’d like to see Underwood and Jackson on the outside with Williams in the slot.

Sorry to be at Parker’s expense, but I am glad to see Underwood getting a shot.

He could this offense stretch the field. (So long as Freeman can deliver)

Has to be an issue behind the scenes here. Parker screwed up something big time. Underwood is solid but by no means is he an upgrade. I wouldnt expect much from him. What is everyone so fired up about Underwood for? He didnt even get picked up by another team.

Dumb move dumping Parker. WE got rid of a guy who can play for a guy in Underwood we think can play.
