I felt bad for Blount because he looked like he was going to do some damage then he had that strange reacton/injury. It looked like they were going to go back and forth between Martin and Blount before that incident and it looked really promising. But I’m okay with not risking and pushing it because we did get the W and it was only the first game.

If it was a playoff like situation then I would hope they put him back in.

Im not sure but I felt like he stopped getting carries after that knee injury he had. They probably used that as an excuse to keep him healthy and give newly added DJ Ware a go

If blount was out because he was concussed makes sense.

Doug Martin had a decent game stats wise, but prior to the last drive, he was averaging well under 4 a carry. I liked the way olson would put blount in late in the game, keep him fresh and wehn the opponent is tired have him run over them. We could have easily lost that game with how ineffective our O was in the 2nd half. We need to be using Blount more, hopefully the intentions were there but he was taken out for safety reasons.

Blount got his bell rung (aka concussion) and didn’t return. It wasn’t his leg, it was a helmet to helmet hit on the tackle.

From the stands, it looked like he got shot, was thinking concussion all the way, first one out, could lead you to believe that possibly he is not too happy about martins play on the field.

Being an undrafted free agent from a previous regime is like being a red headed step child. LGB will get some carries once Dougie is not so fresh.

Blount was definitely underutilized which was disappointing to see since he can be a real weapon running the ball as we have all seen the past couple of years. but mark my words we will need Blount and he will come through for us as the seasons progresses. he will bounce back and become a solid producer in this offense.

I agree that Blount may have bigger issues, because he looked really strange, almost siezure like after he got up from the play. My first thought was concussion. He took a straight helmet to helmet hit.

Also, barron was blowing people up. liked to kill steve smith one time

@Hawaiian Buc..Thank you. I do not get the Freeman basjing after a win against a team that destroyed the Bucs last year. Some people just are not happy no matter what. I saw a run first offense, and I was happy with Freeman.
