Every single team in the NFL has conditioning tests that must be passed. Remember Haynesworth in DC? Shanahan worked him to a pulp and wouldn’t let him join the group until he passed. He whined and complained but eventually submitted and eventually passed it. No organization trusts players to just show up in shape. They are monitored, tested and re-tested if necessary. These are professional atheletes and if they want to get paid they should be tested. The military requires testing every year and if you don’t pass your put on a plan to make you pass.
