King is wrong. Bowers isn’t even a top 5 pass rusher on the Bucs AND the Pats 1st stringers last TD was against the Bucs 2nd string, not 1st string… AND one of the Pats 3 and outs was against those same 2nd stringers.

As long as Freeman is on target when it count’s like he did over and over again in 2010 and the first 4 games last year.We’ll be fine.Last year boiled down to having to go thru a hellish schedule that broke our will.They tryed against the titan’s to stay alive but losing that game was the end of the season.The nail in the coffin and wrapped with 100 meters of chain padlocked and backfilled was the beat down the freakin Jags gave us.

You forgot to mention that pretty boy brady did not make his 2nd touchdown drive until the defensive reserves were in with 2 minutes left in the 3rd. Also the run game was the primary reason both scores were achieved, not golden boy’s arm..

I agree Miguel.

Freeman’s play was not that good. He missed about 4 WRs due to inaccuracy.
Complete those and it could be more of a blowout early on.

He still did not seem to be setting his feet prior to throwing.

I’ll agree with Peter King for once and give Greg Schiano props for coach of the week. I was impressed.

Now he has to figure out the problem we have with our QB Dilfer…..err….Freeman.

Like I said, that defense looked really, really good. Best I’ve seen us look since the first Atlanta game last year. Brady was actually confused and it was really fun to watch. If that continues I may have to up my projection on the win/loss record for us this year. Seriously, we could win the division with that defense. We’ll have to see whether they can sustain that kind of play in the regular season but I loved what I saw Friday. Don’t have to score a lot of points when you have a defense like that.

he earned it. I caught some of the jets pansies game last night. I was watching the NYJ who have a swarming D and was thinking how the Bucs D looked even more scary when it comes to pressure. They were getting after it, both from the DE, DT & LB…mostly DE & LB blitzes though. but I can’t wait to see the eat cammie bear.
