this guy played through injuries and worked hard. Seems the Buc's could've been a little sympathetic given the situation. I hope he did something really bad besides not pass a conditioning test

Only the clueless are stunned by this. Brian has been unable to cope with his sister's death and I'm sure he hasn't been studying the playbook and working out like he should. If you blame Dom for this you are an absolute moron. It is hilarious to see the opinions change on this board like hormonal teenagers. After this year's draft everyone was loving Dom. We trade Price and suddenly he's the worst GM in football. I remember when we traded Antonio Bryant reading the same whining comments. I think Dom and Schiano know what they are doing.

Yes, Briscoe failed his conditioning test during OTAs and Price failed the test yesterday completing only 4 of 16 reps before sustaining some kind of injury. Note: I'm quoting Rick Stroud on Price so beware!

Notice that the two guys cut were not at OTA's
Maybe the reasons given for Price going to Cali were not the whole truth.
By saying that Price needed to "deal with personal matters" may have been only part of the reason that he was possibly sent away from OTA's. The reasons that were given may have only been smoke screens to keep things quiet. Schiano does not need any type of off season turmoil.
We may never know how Price really acted behind closed locker room doors. Do we even really know why Rah sent him off of the field last year? Really? Maybe Price was just a total head case. Maybe it is due to his personal experiences. Maybe bad memories linger from the "disrespect" Rah gave him. Maybe too many bridges were burned. Maybe the truth lies in all of the reasons somewhere.
But we can not just herald him as an ultimate Buc for him just being a professional and coming back after an injury, regardless of how intense of an injury that it was. Remember he is not just for playing for the team, but for personal reasons as well, Million$$$ of them. He is a young man in a new "career" and one that he is only at the beginning of. One in which he has God given talent to make Millions of Dollars if he can stay on the field. One in which he has no long term documented success in. The NFL is a MultiMillion Dollar BUSINESS. Excuses whether actual truths or just excuses are still excuses. Look at his stats His injury may have ended his career and still may. We don't know if he is football ready due to injury or weight. He still has to pass a Physical in Chicago and he still may not have his head just right enough to play football again. There are a lot of ifs ands and buts associated with Price. Potential never means anyting unless it is realized (GMC are you hearing this?). Price just has not produced any consistant results except in very brief flashes. Good luck to him and God Bless him and his family but I don't think that us fans have the Whole story.
As far as cutting Briscoe goes...
Did anybody think that any head coach trying to change the culture around would put up with Briscoe's crap anywhere? He was gone before you could say baby mama drama.

<blockquote>This is terrible. Wow. We just blew a 35th (there about) pick. It’s hard to be good blowing a pick like that.</blockquote>

Just a hunch, but you never saw Price play prior to his injury?
