Why were they lined up better in 2010? Barrett did a lot more in 2010 than people realize. Remember the defensive effort the last game of the 2010 season down in New Orleans. Rudd forced the key fumble that stopped a Saints score.

Lack of veteran leadership is the main reason the defense was clueless and frustrated in 2011. The team has added a lot of veterans, so things should be much better this year. Foster was in way over his head.

Dan, true, and Calvin burns everyone, even ther elite corners will give uppasses to CJ. It always erks me when people try and say Biggers sucks because Calvin Johnson schooled him…

Biggers is a disaster of a corner, but he isn’t a quitter. He also has good straight line speed, but he is small and uses his body and hips poorly which causes him to allow separation during transitions and cuts

This fatal flaw can be fixed with coaching but it is very rare and unusual.

I commend biggers for admitting that Joe and Tim’s coach Of the year didn’t even know where the players were to line up on D.

biggers looked worse than he was last year because of HORRIBLE safety play. several times where he got ‘burned’ he thought he had help over the top. (or thought there was help over the top) the worst though was Calvin Johnson… just throw it high enough…

Pretty damning comment for Raheem and company. I’m sure no offseason didn’t help, but here is a third year guy that is admitting he only knew his assignment and had no idea what the rest of the defense was doing. Good coaches make sure their players know WHY they are doing what they are doing. Should see a big improvement this year by all Bucs.

Just glanced at all the last 2 day reports from OTAs and must say: it has me pumped up. Love what they are doing and what the players are saying about it.

Thank you Jrock. It’s perfectly acceptable if you want to call him bad, but not a quitter. I have watched every game and never noticed him quit, nor heard any indication from anyone credible that he did. If you are going to accuse someone of quitting (which is about as bad of a accusation as you can make) then have some proof. If not, then you are pulling a Thomas.

Wow in 2010 Biggers had a fine season, and after one where everyone on this team was being sliced and diced I don’t see how he was that much of the problem over so many others who were not playing at anywhere near a high level. Biggers has shown to have some speed and skill in 2010, but in 2011 he looked a bit lost. That being said I remember him clawing and scrapping to keep Roddy White out of the endzone in the game at Atlanta last year, along with so many other plays of him showing effort. I am a Biggers homer for some reason, but I objectively think that he is a decent nickel corner on the outside who will improve this year with an off season with these coaches.

Pete are you serious? How do you call biggers a quitter, if you actually watched bucs games, is beyond me. If you want me to pull videos showing biggers running down ballcarriers while his teammates loafed last season I will.

You are completely irresponsible and wrong for calling biggers out like that. He’s one of the FEW who kept at it as the season went on. So will you do your proper research or should I do it for you?

He has won the media super bowl, lets see what happens on opening day when this college coach hit the field against pro coaches,who know how to coach pro football players.
