This team needs MORE draft picks, not less. Ronde won’t be around much longer. At some point, reality will settle in on what little Quincy Black brings to the table, there will be unexpected injuries, etc.

It would take more than a third and we are already down a forth rounder. We would end up giving our second as well…resulting in only one good pick this year. THAT is morgaging the future.

I have a stupid idea:

Let’s trade our first round pick with the colts first round and throw in 1st rounders the next two years.

After that, we then draft Luke Kuechly.

We did that to demonstrate how important he is to the Bucs.

If Dominick trades up he may just lose my support. It would mortgage the teams future and would show he’s not good at his job.

I can see standing pat. I can see trading down. I can see taking any of the three who falls to us..but trading up would be a HUGE mistake.

its gonna be keuchly, every other pick is a luxury , this is a need filled by the best player at that position and best drop cover mlb most scouts have ever seen, mason struggled in coverage, we have dbs and rbs that are at least serviceable, we have 3 lbs that played like crap last year and only 2 of them and no replacements. its a no brainer, you can get role player db and rbs in rounds 2 and 3. you need an impact player at mlb and he will be there at 5. you could possibly get some chatter with the other teams interested in the a&m qb to dangle that carrot in front of miami so they move up so they dont miss out again on a qb still get him at 8 and pick up another pick, which would be the ideal situation. claiborne and richardson are more than likely both gone and with the holes we need to fill you dont trade up when we are already short a 4th round pick
