How FAR down and for WHAT additional pick or picks? That kind of sort, maybe MATTERS! That and finding a trading partner who wants to trade up.

@Capt Tim – you post sounds like it’s coming from a 12 year old… “lol” indeed. As commish says:

“With all of the talk about how you can find running backs anywhere, half of the league’s top 15 rushers from last season were 1st round selections. 3/4 of the top 15 rushers were either 1st or 2nd round picks. As much as people want to use that excuse that you can find running backs anywhere, the stats do not lie.”

Did you ever see Richardson play? He’s a complete back as there is and has great quickness. Emmitt Smith wasn’t very fast but had great vision, burst and short line quickness. Matt Forte, Michael Turner and Frank Gore were in the top 3 for 20+ yard runs and none of them runs particularly well. Being a RB has very little to do with your 40 yard dash time, Chris Johnson is more the exception then the rule.

Agree that CB is a little more undervalued in the scheme the team has run in the past, but you’re assuming the team will run the same scheme. Not saying you’re wrong, but NOBODY has any idea what scheme the team will run, including yourself. Not all 4-3 defenses are created the same. Can’t wait till Thursday night. Anyone else heading out to Joe’s draft party?

@Brandon – There’s a million experts right now, some have said Richardson’s draft grade is higher then Adrian Peterson and have called him the most talented player in this year’s draft, including Luck and Griffin. Opinions differ on Richardson so you can spare me the “absurd” BS based on one man’s opinion.

Who are teams going to clamor over after to move up to get at #5? Tannehill? Blackmon? Kalil? Doubtful, doubtful & doubtful. Teams are going to be very reluctant to give up 2nd round picks in a deep draft.

Just like has been the case in a few prior year’s drafts for the Bucs I think we’re 2-3 spots away from having a coveted pick.

By my count, fans of roughly 12 teams are clammoring for their teams to trade down, and I’ve heard of no one who wants to trade up.

It takes two to tango, and I think with this draft, the Bucs are the nerdy looking kid with glasses sitting in the bleachers during the school dance.
