If we don’t go Claiborne, I actually really like Boykins from Georgia. He’s a little undersized, but he’s plays big. He has elite speed, and is an excellent return man. He has played with much less help, as his front 7 is nowhere near the caliber as LSU. I’m not saying he’s better than Claiborne (can’t teach size), but he would be a pretty good consolation prize.

And Janoris Jenkins also played against those same studs in the SEC as a Freshman. Jenkins is the CB that I want, but just don’t know if he’ll be around when its time to pick. He is stronger than Claiborne, quicker to the ball and I think he’s learned his lessons by now.

Claiborne hasn’t been tested. A guy like Greg Childs is Claiborne’s biggest test this season? That’s just crazy. He doesn’t have the elite technique or fluidity that guys like Revis or Nnamdi have. Claiborne is gonna be in for a shock when he gets matched up with guys like Brandon Marshall, Dwayne Bowe, Vincent Jackson, AJ Green, when he finds out 188lb 4.5 man press don’t work againt elite players in the NFL. I didn’t even list guys like Calvin, Fitzgerald, Andre for obvious reasons, he’s just not an elite player. Claiborne wasn’t even the best DB on his own team last year. That was Mathieu. He has a future in the NFL, but he’ll never be a great CB.

I agree about the lying part and think she really is a man. I only went after her/him the other day because she’s always calling people out as if she knows everything. I respect people’s opinions, people with class anyway. I just got sick of it the other day when the $600K thing came out. It was like a new mission for me to down her. She may not post on this thread again but I guarantee she’ll read what we wrote. Kinda unlike a woman not to get the last word in, that’s why I think she is really a man, or a boy actually.

This is so hilarious. She still refuses to admit any fault. Unbelievable, but entirely predictable. I think she possibly has a reading comprehension problem as well. I stated that any successful business person would take the score into consideration. You took it to the next level, and then brought up how much you make. Like BigMac said, totally inappropriate and classless.

If you scored a 9 on the wonderlic, then I really hope I never have to be seen by you. That is absolutely horrible. As a doctor, I’m pretty sure you took tests in Med School, so for you to be that bad is a little scary. I have a feeling you are lying, either about being a doctor, or scoring a 9 (it’s amazing to me that you actually took the time to take it, and then take it again), but then again I really don’t care.

You just keep on justifying yourself, and the rest of us common folk will continue to know the truth.

I knew the HJ comment was gonna getcha. I just had to do it. I’m a guy and that’s what we do. It all started for me with the $600K. Completely inappropriate on a sports blog and way outta line. No excuse justifies it on a sports blog. It was so far out of bounds it had to be dealt with. That is something men won’t do, and to bad you can’t admit you were wrong. I admit many of statements made to you were wrong, but not the Docs and money. Maybe Carts, but not Docs that I know. The next thing and the reason for me saying “condescending” is the use of PHD. You see it on blogs when people want to say that “I am smarter than you because of …PHD”. I really find it amazing that you don’t understand that coming from a common man’s perspective. I also never talk to women like that, but I still don’t know for sure if you are one. Either way I do have to apologize for the HJ remark, it was outta line.

@Hawaiian The wonderlic worthless. It is not an accurate gauge of intelligence. If the Bucs want to consider it, fine. If a business wants to use it, fine. I find nothing of use for its intended purpose as it does so ineffectively.

I brought up myself as an example. I don’t understand how using personal experience to warrant a viewpoint is a bad thing. If I can get a 9 and be a cardiologist, and Mo can get a 4 and be a footballer, this test doesn’t mean much at all. That is where I’m coming from and that was all. You two are the ones that implored further dialogue of me then proceeded to bash me for doing so.

Wow. So the argument was worth having, but since I am a woman, there is no hope, then you insult me with the “handjob” remark, suggest that a vet is more qualified than me to work on humans, then follow that up by saying I am treating others as inferior?!?!. haha Unbelievable. If there is any reason this argument “is like wrestling with a pig in the mud”, it has little to do with my being a woman but much to do with your inability to converse without injecting your own emotions and preconceptions into my words.

I have already stated this, but as you appear to have forgotten, I will refresh your memory: The first money reply was in response to Hawaiian taking a swipe at my business acumen. You are the one who took it beyond that with more swipes. I was responding to your smears, inquiries, and false statements about the profession. If you don’t want the replies, don’t direct the words to me.

As far as seeing you as a patient when ill, I still would regardless of your blackening words of me. Why? Because I care and am a human just like you.

And to think, we could have had a nice back and forth from the get go had you not been adamant to run our colloquy with extensive calumny.

This will be the end of my words on this topic as I tire of reiterating myself to a deaf audience.
