I think the difference is in how we see it.
Winslow doesn’t have constant knee problems
Winslow has a degenerative knee desease, caused by injury.
Resting the knee, slows the effects.
He doesn’t block. He never did. Not even at Miami.
Neither did his father- whos in the hall of fame.

Brandon Marshall is more productive- um, no. I don’t think so at all

I remember John Wade only missed half a season(his second with us) due to injury and played every game in his final 3 yrs. Then right after FA started Faine was signed. I really dont remember the other player you wondering about. Are you thinking about Jeff Christy? I know he was before both and on the SB team.

Anyone remember the reason we got Faine? John Wade had injury issues and the Bucs had brought in a guy a couple times that did a really bad job. I’ve been trying to remember that guys name but can’t…can anyone else?

with or with out coaches. A Vet player should be encouraging the young players to be there first. Not bash others who are giving it their best effort to improve in the off-season.

Good luck Mr. Faine. IMHO a leader leads from the front not the rear. And is the first to be at camp, meetings, or in a teammates face if they are not toeing the line you have Set in stone by your actions.

We have had Faine as our center for several years, how dominat has he ever been for our Oline? He may have called the line blocking adjustments, but I have seen plenty of guys have a free lane to our bacwkfield time & time again. Majesty me wonder if he really was that good at making those line calls. I have no other issue with Faine, other than the lack of making line calls and his lack of true leadership for the Oline & offense in general. When you are a team captain that has responsibility that comes with the C on your jersey. Not just on gameday but during the week leading up to gameday and in the off-season you make it a point to be first at the camps

As for Win-slow, I would not stay up at night if he was traded or released. He never should have been paid the highest TE contract, especially when he hasnt even been in the top 3 his entire time here. And, oh yea, HE CANT BLOCK! Not a good thing for a running team.

All I’m saying is that if it’s true they tried to trade Winslow then he’ll be gone before the draft. You’re right, I don’t know what Winslow and Freeman talked about on the sidelines but then neither do you. I do know that I saw Winslow quit on a lot of his routes last year. He can’t block and like I said, isn’t V-Jack a bigger target or just as big? If Schiano’s plan is to pound the football then we HAVE to have a TE who can block. Winslow does not fit that description.

Nicks believes Derrick Ward is on the team?

There are a lot of things I get from that statement. I’m gonna highlight something different : player’s votes for the pro bowl are seemingly worthless as those who are the best at their position do not even know who is on their opponent’s/new team’s roster.
