The op ed piece was full of distortions and half truths. There has not even been a “wild guess” about improper benefits to players, let alone any serious accusations or evidence. After feeling scorned by UO, Lyles threw them under the bus telling Yahoo he “thought” UO might have been paying him for his influence. Though even he admits there was never any requests made for him to use improper influence, no quid pro quo agreement for his influence and he did nothing to influence players to choose UO or any other school. All of the players involved, including those who are no longer associated with Oregon, deny Lyles did anything to influence what school they chose. Kelly has not commented because NCAA specifically prohibit him from doing so… Yeah sure, all that makes tOSU players receiving tens of thousands of $$$ in improper benefits and their HC covering up the fact he had specific knowledge of it going on and lying to the NCAA seem like “stealing a few cookies”. What a tool…

What really pisses me off is that the Bucs really did offer Chip Kelly a contract.
Chip Kelly = Steve Spurrier
Remember how well Spurrier’s College Coaching Success transferred into the NFL?
While Chip Kelly was the “Splash Name” that some were hoping for, it was the wrong name.
I’d take a re-tread over his style.
Still plenty of Quality options out there…
But time is running out.
Need to do something in the next couple of weeks.

I would think the 3 stooges were brainstorming too, but that would take brains, which appear to be in short supply at OBP.

I want Chucky back. He is probably the best man for the job, and no way they’ll hire Bisaccia or Marinelli.

My guess is by Friday they will make a splash announcement that Mark Dominick will coach the team and play GM. Josh Freeman will be the on field offensive coordinator and Quincy “Missedtackle” Black will be the on field offensive coordinator for the other team each week. And Ronde will be flabbergasted this time.

Would not mind trestman at all. He’s a great offensive mind and is also very intelligent. A lot of qb prospects work out with him pre draft and collect wisdom.

Personally, I’m waiting to see how things actually workout before I express any judgement on the organization. They could surprise everyone and pull a rabbit out of their hats.

I’m determined to NOT let the media control my emotions at this point. They have consistently lied or been wrong.
