Why, because he did an interview? I don’t get your logic. So he can only do interviews if he’s a Pro Bowler? What about Tim Tebow? How many interviews does he do? Is he a pro talker and average player too? So I guess the new rule is, only great players are allowed to open their mouths. All others shall sit in a corner quietly and never speak. Do you even think before you type?

Whatever you say Freemanbomb- Just dont like it when people try to have strong opinions while at the same time contradicting themselves. Dont list Adrian Peterson as someone the Bucs “missed” on while simultaneously declaring that drafting a RB in the first round is a waste of a pick. So if you want to revise your statement and say the Bucs did the smart thing passing on Peterson then go ahead. The fact is that Trent Richardson might be the best RB prospect since Peterson and it would be stupid for the Bucs to dismiss him out of hand just because he’s a RB.

Hope this guy can stay healthy and be the player he is supposed to be. Not very many guys come to your team with the level of class and lack of baggage. Everytime he talks to anyone he stays positive and stays focused on the future. You really want him to succeed. Good role model for the younger fans as well. Don’t think we’ll see this kid on the TPD blotter anytime in the future. Good luck GMC! Most of us are REALLY rooting for your Rehab to be successful. @ “4pm GM” Now lets get to work and get this guy some new coaches pronto!

Let’s not forget…the DL could be going through their 3rd coach in 3 years!

Everybody always recognizes when a QB keeps going through Offensive coaches and how it stunts growth…it’s safe to assume that the D line would have the same problems

I had a chance to talk to GMC for about 5 minutes one day during camp, he is very intelligent & he analyzes everything about the position, on the field it looks like he thinks out every possible move and option instead of just letting go and letting his natural talents & abilities take over.

Beckles:
Matt Forte, Ray Rice, LeSean McCoy, Arian Foster, and countless others can be premier backs without being drafted in the top five. I’m saying we can’t afford to miss this pick, like we have every other this decade. Drafting a running back increases the odds of our pick busting. Why not just take Claiborne, who can help us out against Newton, Ryan, and Brees for the next decade and draft a Lamar Miller, LaMichael James type later in the draft.

On GMC:
I have to wonder…how did the lockout effect his second year? His off-season recovery last year was through a private doctor.

He also missed out on off season coaching.
An offseason with Milliard would have worked wonders.

McCoy should come back with a chip on his shoulder and drive to prove he can play at a high level. I believe he will be a force in the NFL and will anchor the D line for years to come. He’ll mature and his natural talents will as well. We have playmakers on the D line, but they need to get coached up, get healthy and get more experience.

On to the Defensive Line

Fellow Bucs Fans, DO NOT make the mistake of thinking our D-line is or was our best unit. It is the worse. Only one player on the entire defense played well all year…Clayborn. But even could remove the stink from the line.

I do think Milliard would have turned the line around by mid-2012 or 2013.

But with the staff turnover, we’re going to have to wait a little longer…UNLESS we get a beast DT to play next to GMC in free agency. I think GMC is on the verge of a huge break through but Price is not. Price is not bad…he just isn’t great yet and we need a serious threat to garner offensive attentions.

Some of you people have some serious issues. So you are criticizing him for what, doing an interview??? Really? So he’s only allowed to do interviews in your eyes if he remains injury free and is a Pro Bowler? And how dare him take a picture making a silly face! He should be cut immediately and kicked out of the league for such a thing. He even said what most of you people are always complaining about, how the fans are the reasons the players make their money. I guarantee you that most NFL players (and pro athletes in general) don’t feel that way. Some of you have nothing better to do than b!tch day in and day out. What a disgrace to the word fan you all are. Simply pathetic.

This is a first and I agree with you on drafting Richardson on the premise that weapons on offense is just that. Whether it’s a dynamic speed TE, playmaker at WR, or a game changing RB it’s all about influencing the game. We have no one that keeps DC up at night worried about how to stop us and hopefully this draft will change that sediment.

Also I would like the Bucs to sign Nicks (G) or Finnergan (CB) in FA to come in and start. They are going to have to overpay but thats the price for letting this franchise sink so low.
