Rah got the job bc he took it for pennies on the dollar. They only offered pennies on the dollar bc he was unqualified.

Rah’s 3 years destroyed our franchise to the point that they were down 41-0 to the Falcons before halftime. A team that scored 2 offensive points the following week against the Falcons.

Rah got hired bc he was cheap, that decision set us back years, if you try to justify you expose your idiocy.

Boy, memories are really short around here. Raheem got the nod because of the verbal promises made to him in order to get him back here to coach our secondary.

Back then he was considered the best at his job, and a real up and comer.

He STILL is considered an up and comer. He just went to the top too quickly. A few years as a DC probably would have been better for him. One day, I believe he’ll get another chance and do well.

I think Quicken Loans hired Raheem. As I drove to my business this morning I heard them talking about a ‘yorgage’….

Anyway, I think Marty is the best of all the tested candidates they’ve interviewed so far. I would like to see an up and coming coordinator get a shot but it’s not going to happen right now. After this team is seasoned and disciplined then maybe..but not now.

It is said the entire population of Sun City Center’s Senior Citizens will turn out and buy seasons tickets if Marty Schottenheimer is chosen to coach Tampa.
Probably because many seniors remember just how good a coach he was.
I like him the most of any coach we have looked at, so far.
But one poster pointed out that he might clash with Mark Dominik, IF not given total control over player procurement.
I think if the Glazers hire him, and give him control over what players we get, he will rebuild Tampa into a winner again.
And many crybabies and quitters will soon find themselves unemployed, because Marty don’t play.

Rah Rah took a contract paying chucky cheeese tokens and weekly back massages from mark dom (which dom weirdly threw in to the deal).

Guys, there’s nothing wrong with having a 68 year old coach running the team for 3 years or so. He’s just coming off a UFL championship….worthless, yes, but he’s been in the game.

After Shotty is done, the Bucs will be a solid contender and ready to be taken over by someone to lead us into the future.

An experienced, seasoned hand at the wheel is what this team needs. We’ve had men over 68 running the country – this is not near as compliacted
