great job Joe, well done. Let’s not forget he made approximately $5-$6 million from the Bucs before this “payout”.

Ra seems like a nice guy, just not a good fit for the Bucs at this time. I wish him well though, maybe he will be a good coach one day. Maybe Mike Tomlin will scoop him up in some minor role, will be interesting to see if and where.

I wonder if the player iPads for film study were used more for entertainment or for film study. Maybe more self-study and less film study @ One Buc fractured the 2010 team chemistry.

I do feel bad for Raheem. Not from a financial standpoint. I feel bad because he has been here so long, and it would feel great if he had succeeded. That being said, I’m sure that he understands as well as anyone that he needs to be held accountable for the product on the field.

Well put Joe…..Being fired is not something you would wish on anyone…Being fired with 2 million dollars as a parting gift is obviously easier to stomach.

I’m glad he has been dismissed. He lost the players respect as coach, but not as a person. Wish I had a $2M severance package!

I don’t have fun booing the team and I still enjoy this site. It isn’t always negative. JBF just doesn’t sugar coat it like the other outlets do.
