that’s really what needs to be done……how can you blame rah and dom if they are handcuffed when it comes to scooping up talent?

ps i hear momma G slaps the ultra skinny scruffy glazer around in the back yard quite often (aka glazer #3)… (or like the last man drafted he can also be referred to as “glazer irrelevant”)

it was a shame a few years back when we let jonathan vilma get away…i always think about that…he got lost in the shuffle with the jets because of the system, was misused, and hit free agency after his play slid in ny due to coaching and schemes….he was a phenom here his first couple of years and has been solid ever since in nawlins…adam from ny

Mitsurgi, you may be correct, and Mark Dominik is trying to deflect blame for his bosses.
Regardless, he has done a poor job, and his overall draft record of players that worked out has not been good.
This is not just a coaching problem, it is a talent problem. Neither Jim Bates or Raheem were able to put a competitive product on the field against most good teams, with the players Mark Dominik provided them.
We just are not nearly as good as we looked on paper, before this season started.
The few games we have won this year have been real close, and when we lose, we are being totally blown OUT. Other teams are imposing their will on us, and we just plain are not talented enough to do anything about it.
We are weak at darn near every spot on the team, except maybe the kickers.
Honestly, I don’t think even Vince Lombardi could do a whole lot, with these players.
We need a hard nosed coach to come in, cut many of these pretenders, have a great draft, and sign some free agents who can play.
We also need a better talent evaluator, who will not stock our roster with the same kinds of poor players as we have now.
It is gonna take a LONG time to undo the results of Mark Dominik’s poor overall drafts.

Though Dominik said it was his decision/idea to not spend, IT WAS the Glazer’s decision. Dominik would never come out and admit that the Glazers–in the background–told him not to spend and build only though the draft. The same thing is happening with the Manchester United coach–saying that they do not need to spend on players.

Yes, Raheem is gone after our final game. I feel bad for him because I liked him, as a person, and still think he will catch on as an assistant coach somewhere.
I just HOPE he spills his guts, and gives us some insight into the mind of the real culprit here IMHO, Mark Dominik.
I USED to blame the Glazers, until Dominik admitted it was His idea and not the Glazers, to build only through the draft, w/o free agents.

Mark Dominik must have been one hell of a salesman to have convinced the Glazers to fire our Super Bowl winning coach and GM, and put our football future in the hands of himself, and a rookie head coach.
For THIS, I do blame the Glazers.

WTF were they thinking ? This was a slap in the face to the good people of Tampa, who passed a Tax to give them a new stadium, and a sweetheart lease to boot.
The people of Tampa deserve better, then to be the laughing stock of the NFL.

raheem wont be the only big name staff member to be give walking papers there will others gone as well, and their should be a few big name players to get the boot also all of us will not the change but all us will see it so get over it its comming soon
