And @ Captain Stagger I like your idea to trade for picks, that’s a good idea. If we’re in position to draft Richardson that could be a really popular place to trade out of, a lot of teams will want to take Richardson. Good idea.

^^So Clayborn, Bowers and Foster were boring picks?? Last years draft was awesome, in my opinion.

I think Clayborne is a must-pick player for us, simply because of the uncertainty in our corner department. I doubt they double dip like the last 2 years, our need for an outside linebacker is gonna require we take one in the second round. But I’ve said it before, keep an eye on Zach Brown from UNC, he could be a guy we take over Clayborne.

The reason you’re seeing these names is becasue Bucs fans are tired of taking people we don’t know, who the fans have never heard of before. We want an SEC playmaker that we’ve watched play lights out for the last 3-4 years. No more boring picks!

Wow I surprised by some of the names being thrown out there, actually more surprised by the names missing. LB’s in the 10-15 range are Keuchly and Brown right now, then Teo and Burfict grading out late teens to mid 20′s. Hightower, Lewis, Lewis, Upshaw, and David 25-50.

Morris is atop the CB food chain and if we lose out should be the pick, if we land 8-12 Keuchly is the pick.

Look at Minnefield, Hosely, and Heyward as 2nd rd CB’s and if Jenks slides to the 2nd round……take him, he is Top 10 talent.

There are two real deep threat WR, Kendal Wright who might last to the second round, and Hilton from FIU who could slide to R3 due to small school.

Too many needs to take Richardson, and the value just isn’t there. There are more Ronnie Browns and Carnel Williams than there are Adrian Ball, Miller, Polk, and Martin are much better values. Truth is James needs to be the pick in R3, his skill set and electricity even in a limited 10 touches role would be a game changer. Demps is looking like a late rounder and Rainey might go undrafted.

Trade back please Dom trade back to 20, and pick up another 2. Take Teo 1, Wright 2a, David 2b and James 3.

I also think one of the 4 will slide to our 2nd, Burfict/Teo/Hightower/Jenkins…who will be this years “Bowers”

Trent Richardson is about one more off-season weight lifting regiment away from running a 5.0 40 yard dash. He has regressed since he was a freshman. His speed is gone and it’s only going to get worse. I do not waste a pick on him, especially when we already have Blount. Richardson would have at least 100 more yards if he wasn’t so damn slow.

Claiborne, Kirkpatrick (love him), Dont’a Hightower, or Janoris Jenkins. Maybe even trade down and take Burfict.

My dream scenario would be the Browns, having two 1st rounders, wanting someone so bad that they give both of their 1st rounders to the Bucs. Who would the Bucs pick with two 1st? A linebacker would be one.

I think we need to draft richardson and worry bout defense in free agents landry from the redskins is a solid choice to replace jones a explosive play maker expesually if we aint playin the cover 2 anymore plus he can help out on.the run flowers from kansas city is a fa that would help the corners and on offense I would love to see jackson in a bucs uniform that would spread the defense for.both blount and richardson to run.the.ball is a 2 back leauge the more.u run the.bettee you r and it helps freeman get even better and stop makimg so many mistakes

what everyone needs to pray for is one of the top qb’s to be on the board when our time comes so we can trade back. after that it has to be either cb or lb. rb’s should never come off the board in the top 10, never.

but u are talking about finding 6’8″ TEs, and u go and mention Aaron Hernandez….who is around 6’3″ or 6’4″ TOPS.

and Jason Taylor was not a coverage LB by any stretch. he was primarily a 4-3 DE, and when he did play OLB it was in a 3-4 where he rushed the passer on 90-95% of his snaps.

on a side note, i dont know how it is possible for so many people on this board to be able to function for this many years and not be able to distinguish the difference between the words OUR and ARE. sorry if that sounds like nitpicking, but it blows my mind how people can formulate sentences while being that stupid. unreal.
