2. Haynesworth: Certainly everyone has opinions about bringing him in, that’s fine. Let’s watch him with a critical eye but give him an honest chance to play and prove himself in a Buc’s jersey.

3. Even the best teams in this league have bad games. The ship’s not on fire yet people! However…if we look the same in the next 2 games, we’ll need to reach for that fire hose.

There is very little downside to this move. We all should be more excited for Sunday now.

He made a choice to go to Washington who was still running a one gap 4-3 defense in 2009 as opposed to the Bucs who were switching to a two gap Jim Bates Defense. He had no clue that the Bucs would go back to a one gap and Washington would fire Zorn and his new DC would be Hasslett and his 3-4.

From there it all went down hill. Unhappy as all heck, A.H. fell apart, and has been that way since. Even at New England, the D there is a two gap system when they do run the 4-3 which isn’t that often.

Here in Tampa Bay, Hanesworth has a chance to resurrect his career. I don’t see him causing problems here..this is the perfect system for him. I expect the Bucs defense to limit teams to about 100 yards rushing per game. The 180 stuff is over with. If Houston rushes for 125 or less, Bucs win.

Derrick Brooks and Cato June were both let go for Hayes and Black. Still laughable almost 3 years later.
