Pete Prisco is a closet Bucs fan and huge fan of Freeman. For him to drop Bucs that far, he must have been really disappointed with the way we played.

Prisco is a tool but he is correct. Freeman, Williams and K2 are very good – the rest of the skill players – ho hum.

I dispute this “step backwards.” Yes, they will not win 10 games this year, and from that standpoint he is correct. But every objective person, including some former bucs, players, media etc, have acknowledged that last year their schedule of weak qb’s distorted the team’s ability.

Under normal circumstances (drawing the team’s best qb),they were probably a 5-7 win team last year. This year probably 6-8 – if it ends up 6 or less wins then we have a real argument that they have gotten worse.

The speed on offense is in New Orleans in the form of Darren Sproles, in St Louis in the form of Jerious Norwood, and in Atlanta in the form of Jacquizz Rodgers

I’ve been saying all along that we are lucky enough to have a real stud in the making at QB in Josh Freeman…….we should be surrounding this guy with as much talent as we can possibly get our hands on, but for some reason we decided to stand pat.

I want more “touchdowns waiting to happen” on offense…..Mike Williams might fit that role, but that’s about it
