@barton1017 I don’t believe putting Ronde at safety would prolong his career. Nor do I think he would be an upgrade to either T-Jack or Grimm. If we did pick up a CB I would use him in Nickel situations. He would still get plenty of play time, but would get way more rest than he is used to. It is hard for a 36 year old to play constantly like he has. The guy needs a break. A nickel role will give him that and allow him to enjoy his job quite a bit more.
As far as RBs go, I haven’t really looked into it. We have Blount, Caddy, Lumpkin, Graham, and now Bradford. I can’t see them spending any more money at that position after they sign Bradford. Caddy or Graham may be gone soon, but I just don’t see the point in drafting another RB right now. Perhaps if Bradford and Lumpkin fail royally we might pick up someone midseason, but I don’t see it happening before week 1.

well im glad to see we agree on @ least 1 thing, Joesph would be great, and what about movin Ronde to a Safety spot to help prolong his career? then we have a strength @ the CB spot for years. i say we need to jump in on Sproles, do you see a better fit for the Bucs than him? BUC IT IM OUT!!!!!!

@barton1017 Good afternoon, brother.
I say sign Joseph. Great value for the price. I don’t think there is much if any downside to signing him, other than more griping and moaning from Marvin Lewis, of course.
I haven’t heard of any interest in Mebane, but I think that kid has got some serious talent. He would be great next to McCoy if Price can’t get that hip working. Only problem is Mebane would be a pretty penny for insurance if Price is able to make a perfect comeback.
Still want a OL more than DT but certainly a DT before a DE.

McCoy is doing everything possible to be a great DT and a leader of men and Brees is an awesome guy (and should be traded to the AFC)
