He must have passed the physical, because later in the day, at the 4 pm presser, Dominick said everyone passed.

So this story is kind of a deception at this point.

What is confusing to me, is that he broke his fibula. The non-weight bearing bone of the lower leg. It usually isn’t a huge injury and some players have recovered (O’Donnell, Owens among others) in 6-8 weeks.

I think Grimm will be fine. The only thing that concerns me is the time he spent immobilized and if it will effect his explosiveness and change-of-direction.

Gary and Dave- lol, I dunno. EVERYBODY on this site is an expert. You start listing Doctor’s info, then you’ll have guys questioning their Surgery choices. Wanting to trade surgeons, and disputing their skills. It could get ugly. . .

Grimm was one of the best stories outta last year. I hope he’s on the field again soon!

I’m all about the Grimm reaper. I hope this guy is back on the field quickly. If T-Jack is to be the FS, Grimm should no problems beating Sean Jones for the starting SS spot.
Grimm, do some Chris Angel magic on that knee and get back on the field. This defense needs you, breh!

I felt bad for Cody when he broke his leg. I hate seeing injuries like that.

Ya think the Drs shot him up? He doesn’t look like a guy that just had his leg almost snapped off.

Good idea. I would like to know some details on how they evaluate players with different issues.

As far as Price, though, they didn’t “miss” anything. He had a freak injury while playing for the Bucs.

This is a good time to bring up something I have been wondering for a long time:

I have always wanted an in-depth article/post/video/whatever on our team doctors. These days, doctors have such an important effect on a team’s success.

Are our doctors good for managing K2 knees correctly and losing Antonio at the right time?

Or are they bad for missing Price’s injury and gambling on Bowers when 31 other teams passed?

Its hard to tell. I would love some info on our medical staff compared to the rest of the league.
