Dear McBuc, I do not personally believe in a God, but our founding fathers were making an important point, that you are born with inherent human rights. No king. or persons of supposed importance can deny your basic human rights. Yes, a felon may arm themselves, why would they lose their "unalienable right" because a judge had previously ruled against them?

Amendments are liens, which simply do not apply to your basic God given and unalienable rights. Again, the Constitution of the United States of America was simply NOT accepted without the Bill of Rights permanently attached. I find it unbelievable that a Mexican National has to explain to Amerikan children what their Constitutional rights are. Wake up, Amerika!!

I think you are taking the god thing a little literal. If what you say is true, then we would have to allow violent felons the right to be armed...being a god given right and all. We also have a bunch of these things called amendments, which are allowed in our constitution. What if his right to bear arms infringes on the right of someone in the club to breath? Even the wild west made you check your guns at the door when entering a bar. I get what you are saying, and I believe that all Americans have the right to own a gun. they also have the responsibility to follow the laws governed by their state. The teams in NY go over the gun laws with every player every year, he made a stupid mistake and had to pay the price. He should have taken the deal that no poor man in NY would have recieved. His arrogance back fired on him.

The thing that puzzles me, is why didn't Plexico defend his God given right to be armed? With his resources and a little legal help from the Gun Owners of America, he could have easily overthrown the unconstitutional gun ordinance in NYC. In Washington DC and Chicago, it was overthrown when challenged. It would have been a landmark case and he would never have to spend a moment behind bars. He might have to pay a small fine for discharging a firearm in public. These laws are there to throw poor people in jail, those who can't afford to defend themselves. I would suggest he sue his legal team for blindsiding him and not truly defending him. The Bill of Rights stands supreme to all laws and local ordinances, they never can stand the scrutiny of a Supreme Court challenge.

The United States Bill of Rights states that our rights as human beings are God given and unalienable. A lien is a law or ordinance and NO man, judge, congress, senate, mayor, governor, president, administrator, policeman or city commission can change these rights. That's why the US Constitution was not accepted until the Bill of Rights was attached permanently. Wake up, Amerika!!
