He’s going on the PUP… that is too bad, maybe late this year or next definately.

They will be fine with McCoy, Miller, Okam, and …. Woods for the 4th maybe? They could keep only 3 and go with 5 DEs because they like a couple of them to move inside sometimes.

Anyway, very dissappointing to hear about Price, I really want to see him and McCoy together wreaking havoc

Dan, true. But that’s the senario that would intrest our team. Nobody would take on the “money for nothing” contract he has now. I am near Washington now, and am subjected to Redskin news( lucky me- blah!), and cutting big Al is a possibility. Also it Is common to require a restructuring of the contract before a trade. If Domminick is interested, I’m confident it’s on his terms, not AL’s or the ‘skins

More important is the severity of Brian Price’s injury. Thats just a damn shame!

to ‘put all his money into incentive clauses’ he would have to be CUT go ALLL the way through the waiver wire and then signed as FA, otherwise the team has to take on his CURRENT contract ( the one he failed under) and if they want to reorganize it, they are subject to him saying… NO. and you still have to honor the ‘guranteed’ money in place of Redskins.

This was the injury I was worried about all along. If he’s just started jogging, he’s on I.R this season. Two years after college, he’ll start his Riokie career. With a screwed together Pelvis. I wish him the best of luck, buuut that sounds like a tough thing to do.

Might be the reason Mark is looking at Facestomper. IF, and I repeat IF, you put most of his money in incentive clauses, where he has to work for it, haynesworth is still a dominant DT. And while he was being lazy, I think the coach I Washington was really trying to make an example outta big Al. He has always been lazy, but he wasn’t a problem guy until that coach.

I think the Bucs will be alright because they have Okam and Woods in reserve. Doug Worthington can also play inside. But I’m concerned about Price – his answers didn’t seem to be upbeat about his future and this is the first time I heard about a second surgery in January. This is radical surgery and the kind of torque required to play the DT position may make it impossible for him to ever perform at a high level. I hope he finds some quality of life after football, but like Trae, I think he’s done.

Stick a fork in this guy. The guy’s muscles and bones are held together with screws. DT is a violent position that requires twists, turns, driving…the guy can barely jog in a straight line a month away from training camp.
