Don’t know what Joe’s talking about…having been to Wembley for Bucs vs Pats in 2009 I was fully expecting a mostly expat crowd…boy was I wrong. The crowd was at least 75% European and that’s being conservative. It was a Super Bowl environment around the stadium and the line for NFL team gear was way longer than the beer line.

Of course Mr. Urlacher wants the game played in Tampa, do you know how much price difference in airline & hotel between Tampa and London from Chicago. That’s not even considering the beaches compared to the Thames…. he has family and friends who also want to go to sunny and warmer Florida not to weather about comparable with Chicago… if I had a few million in the bank I would go to London to watch the game, and invite some friends… but I don’t so I am sitting at home. Watching the bucs play the bears on tv…. Yahoo!

Spoken like someone who has’t got the first clue what they are talking about, I’ve been to every single UK game (yes that includes those in the 80′s) and the number of Americans there is minimal.

BTW you haven’t look very far for those Bucs fans that you claim don;t exist, I know a whole bunch of them that are happy the game is being played in London. Just because you don’t like the idea it doesn’t alter reality and facts.
