I agree with what Pete said. It really didn’t matter who the pick was this year. Dom and company have had 2 very good drafts, and I was very comfortable going into this years draft that the pick would be a good one that they did much research on.

And if you listened to Dom’s press conference you will hear that they have been doing research on this kid since last years draft when they though he might be entering for his Junior season. When he decided to stay for his Senior year, Dom and company watched his whole season to see how he progressed.

Football season can’t come soon enough, and I cannot wait to see Price fully healthy.

I think Atlanta blundered big time. The Saints not so much, but the Bucs can handle the Saints with Ingram. It is a curse to be a Saints RB. they all go down every year with knee injuries. Ingram is next in line.

Now I would really like to see Dom trade up right now at 33 with the Pats and draft DaQuan Bowers. I think he is worth the risk and the price may not be too high right now.

I am real high on Clayborn. Dom has a way of finding the right players and this guy appears to be relentless.

Not a huge college football fan(except for the Florida teams), so I’m not sure if we, New Orleans, Carolina, or Atlanta made any smart picks. We will have to wait and see? I do know, it was a position of need for us and hope does kick some a$$!

I liked Gruden as well. I liked how he showed a list of the adjustments each players would individually have to make. Usually, we see a list of 3-4 things…his were about 12-1

I liked the pace of the draft, it really moved along quickly. thought Gruden did a good job, although I believe he did not mention Raheem of Dominik by name.

I’m sure their pick makes a lot of sense for them, but I’m curious if they were tempted to move up a couple of spots to get Kerrigan or the Prince.

Dominick and Morris have done so good previously that I told myself that no matter who they picked, I would support it. And I am.

Adrian Clayborn was under my radar, and I wanted Kerigan, but that was no longer an option. And when were were a pick away I thought, “Wow! We could end up with Prince!”

And of vourse he went instantly just before us.

One thing…I like Clayborn’s attitude. It reminds me of Sapp in some ways.

Trust in the Dom….trust in the Dom….

I suspect Adrian Clayborn will be great on this team. As to his health issues, they are nothing. He still performs at a very high level. They are not career threatening.

Whereas Bowers knee’s are.

I love this pick. I am not sure why some of you do not, but to each their own. I remember most of you guys saying Freeman was a reach as well, and look how that is turning out. If you watched any Iowa ball, you should be fired up for this kid.

I’m sure they wanted the Neb CB as well, but living in Iowa last year and in Florida now I can ensure you we have a run stopper. Most importantly, this guy made the DTs on the Hawkeyes alot better. Gerald and Price have to be happy with this one.

Apparently, this is the way it’s going to be every year at the draft. Fans who think they are capable GM’s are going to b!tch and complain about every single pick, as if they have any clue how to evaluate talent (besides the ever-so-popular YouTube scouting tape). How many drafts is it going to take for you to realize that when it comes to talent evaluation and drafting players: Mark Dominik > you ? Just because you built a dynasty on Madden doesn’t mean you have any clue what the hell you are talking about.

I’m not saying you have to like the pick, but really, what are you going to do about it? Complain all season? Hope he fails so you can say “I told you so”? What’s the purpose? Here’s a novel concept: How about support him? This guy is coming to Tampa, like it or not. He wasn’t my first pick, but unlike many, I acknowledge that this team would be doomed if I was the GM.
