I think 3-4 helps disguise our awful LB core because of what will soon be a tremendous DL if Price ever can get on the field and make an impact. With that said 3-4 would demand that we have a relentless OLB that can rush the passer. Someone like Aldon can stand up and put his hand in the dirt. I also think houston looked better standing up at times

Ive been talking about the Bucs maybe moving to a base 3-4 defense for a long time now. First brought it up about midway through last season when they acquired Alex Magee and Al Woods, lineman coming from 3-4 defenses. I think it will all depend on how the draft falls. If they end up drafting enough guys with 3-4 skillsets, guys like Cam Jordan or Akeem Ayers, Dontay Moch or Chris Carter- don’t be shocked if they play more 3-4 than 4-3 next year. I was ridiculed by many on this site but those that said it was impossible can eat their crow now.

No, people were upset over the Freeman pick. They did not have 6 QBs until later. Most of that was trying to find out who would start while Freeman sat a year and who could be a good mentor for him. Turns out he didn’t need any of it, just s good QB coach.

TO ALL:
People can be upset about a pick because we all have an idea what we think they should do, just don’t roast the player (like many did with Freeman). Whoever they pick, give the kid a chance (which takes a few years, 3/4 of a season McCoy haters)

Thanks, but not sure what you are referring to with JP. He loathes the draft so much he took yesterday off, he wasn’t on the air.

JP may be the only red-blooded American male who despises the draft.

Dominik doesn’t seem to understand that people weren’t upset when Dom drafted Freeman because of the player. They were booing because all of the moves that were made prior to get 5 other QBs in the building. We had enough QBs already. It didn’t make any sense to anyone why a team would need 6 QBs.
