Pawlowski- Didn’t the bucs know Houston failed the drug test at the time they brought him in for a visit? When did the teams learn that news? Would they trade up for him in the second round if he slid?

Another prediction from the Capt. Bucs trade up in first round to squire the DE they’ve targeted( Quinn if possible, probably Cameron Jordan).

Sorry guys. Scrap Houston from this list and add Bowers. I wrote this before the news of Houston’s positive drug test from the combine. Bowers will be very intriguing for the Bucs if he’s there at 20.

Jordan or Kerigan would be great , Kerigan is a monster I have seen first hand not great at one thing but good at everything . Reports are Bowers will be lucky to make through a season

i think gabe carimi is the safest pick out of that group. i have always been of the thinking that you cannot go wrong in any draft by taking one of the best offensive tackles. please no 5-techs in the 1st round.

I like the Cameron Jordan pick. We play so much 3 man front in the Tampa 2.1 he is almost a necessity. Our current guys are just too small for that.

I dont think he would fall all the way to the Bucs in the second either but he could slide far enough that a trade up might become an attractive proposition to Dominik. Probably just a pipe dream but fun to contemplate. The fact is with tweener DE\OLB’s in such incredible demand and Houston possibly being the most explosive around the edge of all them, even the positive drug test and lack of inside moves might not be enough get him out of the first round.

If you target Bailey as your LE in the second you have to target Smith, Kerrigan, or Bowers as your RE in the First. If you target Houston in the second as a RE you have to target Bowers, Watt, or cam Jordan in the first for LE
