No way he gets rookie of the year. He and Blount SHOULD be top 4 but when you ahve a QB playing good as a rookie (Bradford) it trumps everything else. If he doesn’t get it SUH gets a big amount votes as well.

Williams is deserving and so is Blount, depending on how he finishes. The sad thing is the media flocks to certain teams and even though Williams had better numbers than Dez Bryant, Bryant was getting all the love, not Williams. Just the way it is.

While I would love to see Williams get ROTY right now it’s Bradford who is leading in that category.

Mike Williams has only been average the past 3 games – opposing teams are putting more/better coverage on him. PLUS he’s dropping balls that he caught in weeks 2-4.

Now if Mike gets 1 TD in each of his final games and the Bucs make the playoffs while St. Louis doesn’t make the playoffs it will look a lot better for Williams.

Blount – I love the guy but like Williams his production is wanning – kind of like LT. This is the time of year these kids need to step it up and not slack off! This Sunday is a great time to put some points up and get those kudo’s that will turn into bucks for these guys!

The NFL should have a “Best Rookie Class” award.

The Bucs would win that for sure.

unfortunately, regardless of what MW does, this award is going to Bradford, given their turnaround, his status of top pick, etc. Unless bradford comes out and throws 5 picks a game the next 3 weeks, even then it may still go to him.

Williams also needs to hang on to a couple more passes. If he continues the drops he’s going to be tagged as the next Clayton. Hopefully it’s just the rookie wall and he’s having a temporary loss of focus. Time will tell.

On an off topic note I just talked to someone who knew Freeman at kstate. Said he was a cool dude but he was definitely not as humble as he is now. Found that to be funny and felt like sharing.

It’ll be between Williams and Bradford….I’d give Bradford the edge just because of the pub he got being the #1 pick and the fact that he’s a QB
