We did something the Saints couldn’t do. Win in AZ. Yes our D did score 14 points for us. But we returned the favor and gave them 14 on two fumbles. So if you take our 14 points and their 14 points away, we still win… I am sick of people saying the other team lost the game and we didn’t win it.

We’ll have to disagree about the Elo rankings. Funnily enough, if you just look at the W’s and L’s, we’re one of nine teams at 5-2 or better. So being ranked 7th by the Elo is pretty consistent with the W-L ranking. All it adds is a little evidence that our wins are not quite as worthless as Joe seems to think.

In this week’s Sagarin Elo ranking (it just looks at wins and losses without taking points differential into account) the Bucs are 7th in the NFL and 2nd in the NFC (behind Atlanta). The constant denigration of our wins is totally baseless when you actually look at who has beaten who over the season so far.

I am so proud of the Bucs, but yet I feel half empty. I think most of us want to see them beat a good team with a winning record. Then and only then can we argue with the nay sayers.

The Buc D came away with 4 picks, not 3. Josh needs a little work on the fade throws but he’s not Manning / Yet. Oh and the great Mike Florio just came out with his team rankings today and guess what he still hates the bucs. He ranked them at 17, behind freaking Seattle. A team that just got embarrassed on Sunday, wow this guy sure knows his football. Did he not pick the bucs to only win like 7 games in three years before the start of the season? Keep up the solid work
